In this study a comparison was made between the cost of regularization of Personal Protective Equipment, according to NR-6 and NR-18, in the works of Santa Helena state of Paraná X value of the fine caused by NR-28. A study was carried out on the safety and health policy of construction workers, as well as on the use of Personal Protective Equipment and accident prevention practices. For the structuring and methodological foundation of this study, the qualitative exploratory research was used. The main objective of the study was to verify the compliance of some items of NR-6 and NR-18, and to compare the cost to regularize the situation with the value of the fine based on NR-28. The case study featured 20 construction sites. A checklist based on NR-6 and NR-18 was applied. The maximum number of employees working in the works visited was 10. After applying the checklist it was found that the average fines would be R$ 20,093.45. Of the 57 employees observed in total, only 20 had training for the use, storage and preservation of PPE, representing 35% of the total number. A calculation was made for the adequacy of the works to NR-6 and NR-18 and it was observed that the value for adequacy of the items for all works would have an average of R$ 406.85. Given the values of the fines X the value of the adequacy of PPE was concluded that if everyone respected the standards would be much more economical for all works visited. |
