Resumo: Plastic waste is among the biggest pollutants today and even with the existence of plastic recycling technology, most of this material is discarded as garbage, mainly due to its low attractiveness and little investment in industries of this nature. The present study aims to use recycled raw material, based on a mixture of plastic materials, previously said to be non-recyclable, as an alternative material for use in civil construction. For this, studies will be carried out on the main variables acting on a structure. Among the various properties studied of this material, it proved to be a potential for its application in small structures, and further studies are needed regarding its economic viability, life cycle analysis, chemical, biological and weathering resistance.
