As example, of waste in machining can be mentioned the cutting fluid. Dry cutting, minimum quantity cooling lubrification, cryogenic cooling, high pressure coolant and biodegradable vegetable oils have been object of study for some authors, since such practices use contribute to sustainable production. In this understanding, this study proposes the study of milling 1020 steel using the equipment developed in the Machining Laboratory for the MQF application method to assess the tool wear and the workpiece surface roughness. The experiments were carried out using cutting tool coated, three conditions of lubricooling (without fluid, semi synthetic fluid and synthetic fluid) and values constants cutting speed (vc), feed (f) and depth (ap), whose values were respectively, 230 m/mim, 0.19 mm e 1 mm. Results revealed that the semi synthetic fluid provided the lowest values roughness, the system used for application method MQF complied with the function and the cutting tool in all tested conditions presented good results. 2021-06-16T18:29:47Z 2021-06-16T18:29:47Z 2020-02-20 bachelorThesis TOLEDO, Samuel Lucas.
