The teaching materials are resources used in the classroom to support the teachers in order to contribute to the critical formation of the student. The textbook and curriculum notebooks constitute key resources and are often the only didactic materials available in the classroom. Knowing the great importance of didactic material in the school environment, this research intends to evaluate chapter "Circulation and Excretion" of the didactic book Investigate and know and the learning situation "Cardiovascular System - Transportation of substances by the organism" of the syllabus of the 7th grade / 8th year curriculum, which is the curriculum support material of the state of São Paulo (called the student's notebook). For the analysis of the materials, na evaluation form available in na article was used as a basis, which contained criteria based on on philosophical-educational aspects, didactic-methodological aspects and material aspects. At the end of the research, the results showed that the curriculum notebook used as the main teaching material is insufficient and does not meet the basic requirements for good school learning. In view of this fact, it is emphasized thus reinforcing the need to expand the number of textbooks given to students in public education system, so that they can be used in conjunction with the curriculum books, and thus ensure a quality education for students. |
