The following work offers contributions to cost improvements, optimization and reduction to the welding process which has been demanded in metallurgic and mechanic industries. In this view, the welding processMAG will be used to assess the weld bead using AWS A5.18 ER70S- 6 wires put into SAE 1020 steel and SAE 1045 steel changing the welding parameters in order to provide a weld bead steadier and steel’s metal base. For this work three samples will be used to each piece of steel, they will be cut and prepared to be welded by the MAG process and in each sample the current and voltage welding parameters will be altered and varied with constant speed. For each welded sample will be carried out tests with penetrating liquid, toughness tests followed by a microstructural analysis by metallography. |
