Resumo: Tumors are abnormal cells clusters that can grow uncontrollably. In this study, we have a cells proliferation model considered as a biological reactor, with populations of tumor cells, health host cells, effector immune cells and chemotherapy treatment. The model exhibits aperiodicity, for certain parameters, which reduces the chemotherapeutic action along with the body’s defense system. This factor induces a reduction in healthy cell populations. The main objective is to show that pulsed chemotherapy with control, when compared to conventional pulsed treatment, is more effective and increases the survival of the individual being treated. In addition, with the choice of the ideal protocol, the is the possibility of partial/total remission of tumors.
