Resumo: This study proposes the use of a monitoring system in real time, developed from the LabVIEW graphical interface and applied to photovoltaic power generation systems. From information related to the incident solar radiation on the PV array and the temperature of it, the system is able to estimate the maximum power that the arrangement is capable of generating at that moment. In addition, the system acquires at the same time actual information of current and voltage of the PV array, being possible to compare the estimated values with those acquired in order to verify if the system is generating the maximum power that is able to supply. The monitoring system is diligent to a prototype developed in laboratory, composed by a DC-DC quadratic boost converter to the voltage rise stage and the DC-AC full-bridge converter for connection into the grid. Is accomplished the modeling of converters for the design of controllers in control loops, where these controllers are embedded in a digital signal processor. This way, by computer simulations and experimental results, the monitoring system developed is evaluated which enables to validate the study for the development of this work.
