Resumo: Increasing urbanization transforms urban centers into sealed areas, altering the hydrological cycle that has one of the consequences as floods. In this context, actions to minimize these effects have been increasingly emphasized, such as the implementation of green coverage, focus of this work. For this study was produced a green roof module and the entire water collection system in the reservoirs, while for the data analysis were used both the data collected by the reservoir water calculation and the data cataloged by the weather station. A total of 6 rainfall events were analyzed under different weather and ground conditions, however, only 3 were possible to calculate retention efficiency with weather station data. Even with little analysis, the results achieved in work they were expected, where shows that the green roof delays the runoff of satisfactory rainwater.
