Inventory balance management is of great importance for the success of businesses focused on the sale of products and inputs for the agricultural sector. This study aimed to elaborate the process of mapping the stock ofinputs available for sale in an agriculture company. Based on a system previously established in the company,
improvements were proposed in the inventory balance calculations to minimize errors in the availability of products between branches of the company. For this, the Survey research method was used and the study was divided into four steps: identification of process deficiencies, separation of materials into similarity groups, design of rules for each group, and analysis of the feasibility of implanting the improvements. Currently, the system used by the company presents logistical gaps in the management of availableforsale stocks. The application of the improvements proposed in this study will promote greater gains and reducing failure and human interference in the system. |
