Resumo: This project dealt with a study aimed at the implementation of a photovoltaic system in a low voltage unit in the municipality of Ibiporã-PR with the aid of the PVsyst software for dimensioning the system and comparing it with the theoretical methodology and bibliographies. The importance of this research is to show how the use of photovoltaic energy can be implemented for low voltage units, since the system is a trend in buildings due to the cost benefit involved in the process. Another aspect was to presente an initial study of the system's implementation, through the dimensioning of modules, CO2 emission and simple payback analysis, the main item for attracting investment in the system. This analysis seeks to illustrate the main processes for choosing and implementing the photovoltaic system. Thus, the work sought to solve the problem of answering whether the implementation of photovoltaic modules brings cost benefit when used in low voltage units through their design. For this, the work had as general objective to analyze the implementation of the photovoltaic system for low voltage unit in search of pointing the best cost benefit for the supplier and consumer. To achieve the objectives of this research, a case study was used in an event center located in the city of Ibiporã, where the modules were actually installed. The project concluded that, both the theoretical method and the computational method present similar results, however, the distribution on the roof, the power of the equipment and the total number of modules must be analyzed for better use of the system. For these factors, the software presented better results, where it was possible to carry out an analysis according to the analysis of shading and layout of the photovoltaic.
