Currently companies to remain competitive in the market, need to invest in technology to optimize internal processes. In this work, an animal feed warehouse and its storage system were analyzed, where some points of improvement in the current processes were identified and, investments proposed to increase, its storage capacity, optimize the process of receiving loads ensuring physical integrity products that will be commercialized in the future. With the increase in feed consumption, it became clear the need to invest in new warehouse verticalization technologies, this would help to optimize the current storage space, to better serve customers. Applying up-to-date methodologies for storage such as FIFO (First in first out) and LIFO (Last in first out) help to reduce undesirable wages in inventory. |
