Some companies have been looking for tools to enable their employees to access company files over the Internet, easily and securely. This scenario has been characterized by what is known as a private cloud, which consists of computing resources used exclusively by a single company or organization. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the performance of file sharing tools in private clouds, since the use of cloud computing by companies has been growing gradually by bringing greater security in addition to reducing costs. This study compared the time to upload and download files of different sizes using the OwnCloud, Pydio and NextCloud tools. |
