This work had as its theme to point out the importance and the difficulty in the teaching of Geometry, moreover it had as main objective to argue about the importance of motivating activities in the construction of mathematical knowledge, identifying the importance of interdisciplinarity between geometry and other branches of mathematics, and to verify what the guidelines are. For the development of the work, bibliographic research was used, which started from the survey of several materials already published on the subject in question. From all the surveys carried out, it was possible to verify, first of all, the importance of geometry for all individuals, and, in addition, how different teaching practices and methodologies that aim at the development and learning of students can be used effectively and efficiently. |
