This work is a diagnosis of production bottleneck in a specific equipment with assembly restrictions, from a supplier of electronic boards, located in the southern region of Brazil. It was verified through demand analysis, using ARIMA modelling for short-term demand forecasting, so that company managers can use data to improve planning and improve their perception, which is important for decision making. decision. For the development of the work were used theoretical concepts related productive systems. Based on this it was possible to elaborate a planning, so that the company could use the results obtained with the calculations and increase its efficiency and decision making more assertively. The study showed that there is a need to purchase a new tropicalization machine due to increased demand at this stage. Every improvement process within a company has a positive return for the organization, making better use of its facilities, people and machine, resulting in an overall improvement in the company's bottom line over the months and years. Production planning and control is based on the best possible occupation of the organization. |
