Resumo: Organizations are increasingly seeking the effectiveness of their processes and control over their operations, whether to meet their customers' requirements, to stand out from competing institutions, as well as to comply with the constraints imposed by public agencies. In this context, the present work aims to define the Standard Process and Operational Procedure Map of an Effluent Treatment Plant in a Poultry Slaughterhouse. Firstly, through a review of the literature was possible to understand the characteristics of effluents from poultry slaughterhouses, the types and stages of effluent treatments and the mapping and process standardization techniques. Subsequently, a multidisciplinary team of collaborators who work directly or indirectly with effluent treatment was formed in order to: identify the existing process in the company against what the literature proposes, map all the steps and tasks involved in the treatment process, its control parameters and its intermediate and final products. After, the team worked to develop a standard operating procedure for activities that directly impactin the delivery of the required specifications. Finally, the study contributed to the determination of a single and shared modus operandi with all team members.
