The use of drones in machine inspection and monitoring activities helps the industrial sector more and more, raising the level of inspection to a higher level. This technology guarantees shorter execution times with increased service quality, high productivity and eliminates the exposure of people in activities that generally offer a high degree of risk to human life. The purpose of this article is to discuss the use of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) in carrying out predictive inspection and asset monitoring work, as well as their benefits when compared to conventional inspection methods. |
