Resumo: In an environment of automobilist national competition for universities, there is a category for formula cars with electric engines. Within this scenario, exists the team UTForce eRacing, which represents the Federal Technology University - Paraná through the Ponta Grossa campus. The present paper refers to the cockpit development of the car built by the team to the 2019 edition and details the project development and construction of the system component. Aiming at car conception as a product of engineering, this paper is based on the product design method, where ergonomic studies, materials analyses, application of product engineering methods, observation of the team’s previous models aiming to apply points of improvement and benchmarking with teams from other universities were carried out. To assure a clear and sequential understanding of this study, the sections are divided between the components that are part of the cockpit, which are driver’s seat, seatbelt, head restraint, dashboard, steering wheel, and firewall; encompassing the SAE regulation main points, the peculiarities, projects, and materials used for each one of the components. Through this, it is possible to analyze the entire cockpit system inside UTF 319 car and its conception for the FSAE Brazil 2019 competition.
