Resumo: Electrosurgery is largely used in the word for all kind of surgeries. Despite almost a century of technology, several questions about electrosurgery remain unanswered. This work represents one step to understand the relation of energy delivered by the electrosurgical unite to the tissue and its physical action. In the need of collecting the temperature inside a tissue during an electrosurgical spark an equipment was developed to suppress this necessity. The system constitutes in a hardware, built using the Arduino R platform, to process the measures, in conjunction with a net of thermistors, as the sensors, and a software to collect all received data. The methodology behind the usage of this item consists in making an incision where the Thermistor sensors matrix sensing element is introduced inside the tissue turning possible the measurement of the internal temperature after the electrosurgical unit is used on the tissue. The response captured is a curve of temperature in time for each sensing element allowing inferring a heat dispersion gradient on a tissue. Results shown that the device can measure the temperature into the tissue after the electrosurgical active electrode deliver energy to it, allowing its use for study of electrosurgery energies.
