The present work performs the design of the brake system of a bajatype competition vehicle, more specifically from the “Londribaja” team. The vehicle's static and dynamic parameters are analyzed, sizing the master cylinder and the balancebar system based on them. The brake disc is selected through the characteristics of the materials most accessible to the team. The entire system is tested and evaluated according to its efficiency and braking distance. Changes made to the brake system meet the requirements of the team and improve the effectiveness of the braking system. The main contribution of this work is to carry out a methodology that can be used for future works with bajatype vehicles. |
