Resumo: The raising of cattle for meat production is practiced in all Brazilian biomes and states of the country, besides presenting products of high nutritional quality. There are several studies in the field of genetic improvement, but few using molecular markers that could contribute to the activity and serve as an example for different producers. When genetic variability is present in a herd, it can contribute to mating system decision making. Thus, the objective of this work was to perform an analysis through a database with molecular markers of type SSRs, evaluating if the population of the studied animals present genetic diversity so that new crosses and or mating can be proposed, besides identifying whether or not there is a percentage of the degree of inbreeding in the animals of the São Marcos Compound Sixteen genetic materials from animal blood extraction and PCR reaction and genotyping were studied. Through the data obtained through the genotyping of the five molecular markers (BM1224, ETH225, ETH152, TEXAN15 and CSFM50) were analyzed in the Darwin program and separated into 4 different populations, demonstrating that the animals are genetically different, however, both groups give origin to the same genetic branch.
