This study seeks to understand the career management and women's leadership in the banking sector, pointing out the opportunities and challenges encountered in this segment, analyzing 02 microcredit agency in the municipality of Pato Branco-PR. Considering this purpose, the Specific objectives were: to check the profile of women working in private banks in the municipality of Pato Branco-PR; Identify from the perceptions of banking, what the main challenges and opportunities experienced in career and leadership management; To analyze, from the established elements, the possibilities of professional growth in the banking sector for women's leadership positions. In methodological terms a qualitative approach of descriptive character was used, for both used as data collection techniques through a questionnaire applied to employees of the agencies. In terms of the construction of the theoretical reference, it approached concepts about leadership, women and the labour market, the role of women in leadership and challenges and opportunities for career management. In this sense, the main authors who subsidized the research were: ANDRADE (2012), Campello (201), Duarte (2008), Moura (2013), Neira (2012) and Salvador (2012). The research becomes relevant, because it seeks to understand, through the perceptions of the banking women the challenges and opportunities of the day to day of their professions, how they face the daily pressures and reconcile all this with the personal life as family, chores and professional qualification. |
