Recently, due to the increase in competitiveness between companies and the growing demand from customers, several companies have become concerned with the effectiveness of their supply chains. As a result, the selection of suppliers that respond to these needs has become indispensable. In the literature, supplier selection is address as a problem of decision-making through multiple criteria. Therefore, the present work aims to apply the multicriteria decision method AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) to select suppliers in a wood company. By employing criteria prioritization, this method presents a final ranking of suppliers using relevant selection parameters to the company. The results showed supplier 3 as the best choice, with a 5.70 overall score, placing it as the best choice against the other two suppliers. |
