Resumo: The present study reports a case study carried out in a medium-sized philanthropic hospital in the city of Londrina, Paraná, using an example of Agile Methodology: SCRUM. The needs and problems of a clinical engineering sector of this hospital were raised and a study was added to make certain tasks feasible. The clinical engineering sector is responsible for carrying out corrective, preventive maintenance and calibrations of hospital medical equipment that include pulmonary ventilators, multiparametric monitors, electric scalpels, tomography, etc., being a vital support sector for the company in question. This study took into account the sector's difficulty in complying with the programmed activities (Preventive and Calibrations). The implementation of the SCRUM methodology aimed to optimize and organize so that these maintenances were carried out within the current period, reaching all the goals established in the indicators where the employees had full monitoring of their own activities and that of the team.
