Resumo: The search for the application of the Industry 4.0 concept has been on the rise in recent years due to its multiple functions that enhance the production process making it more efficient, more profitable and in turn strengthens competitiveness in the markets in which it operates. In the automobile industry, as it is a product with high added value, process efficiency and agility of operation are indispensable. The objective of the following work consists of a case study of the digitization of the current production orders, which are the documents that initiate the process of manufacturing a product containing all the necessary information for delivery to the customer, currently used in the form of Physical documents. To understand the basic scenario of the process orders, a mapping was made from the sale of the product, that is, launching of the specifications in the company’s integration system according to the customer’s needs, going through its printing, until the final delivery. Aiming at the economic viability of the project, a survey of current costs with printing, equipment maintenance, operator time, post-production and waste storage location was carried out. After the analysis, it was possible to conclude all the advantages and disadvantages of the integration between interfaces that would directly impact the production process of an automobile industry.
