Resumo: This monograph, which is classified as a bibliographic survey, consisted of understanding the performance of the work undertaken by the Brazilian military police in addressing the problem of school violence in Brazil, carried out through community police actions, identifying the level of training, the forms of engagement police officers and the level of satisfaction provided by this service to school communities. During the bibliographical survey, issues such as the different forms of manifestations and origins of behavioral imbalance in the school environment were discussed. Information was also sought about the characteristics of the community police philosophy. Discussions also took place regarding the difficulties existing in the relationship between the police and the school community. Finally, the work focused on discussing ways to overcome barriers and the positive importance of community school patrol for Brazilian education.
