Resumo: This work addres the concern with training and human development, and therefore, with education. However, the subject's access to an educational institution is not enough, but one that effectively guarantees its global development. In this context, the stage of Early Childhood Education is a theme that has been highlighted in discussions in recent years, since childhood today has acquired space and importance in our society, thus looking at fundamental issues that imply in this stage of education, for example, children's learning and development stands out. However, despite the progress being noticeable in the stage of children's education, through laws and official documents, what is observed is a gap between the advances acquired and the practices in the institutions, since the work in many institutions derives from the historical assistance tradition that had (and still has) Early Childhood Education, with little prospect of developing an adequate job and without concern with educational and pedagogical activities.
