The construction industry is increasingly seeking sustainable and financially viable solutions, in order to meet international criteria for adequate housing, mitigate the impacts caused before, during and after the implementation of projects and develop sustainable communities. For a community to be considered sustainable, it is essential that it is integrated into the urban space, connected to the road network, with good accessibility and mobility conditions, with the offer of equipment, services and urban infrastructure. For this reason, Caixa Econômica Federal considered in its environmental certification, Selo Casa Azul, mandatory criteria related to the location of the enterprise. This study aims to analyze the Cidade dos Lagos neighborhood in Guarapuava, PR, based on the indicators “Quality and Wellbeing” criterion, in order to verify the potential for certification of the edifications to be built in the study region. To this end, the criteria relating to the land of the Guia Selo Casa Azul + CAIXA were systematized and methodologies were developed and applied to verify the indicators. It was found that no land meets all the mandatory criteria, but that the projects still have the potential to be certified, as long as the owners present mitigating measures for the problems found. |
