Resumo: Civil construction is a sector that has great relevance in the country's economy and consumes different types of raw materials for its development, given the depletion of these natural resources, sustainability is a necessary demand to contain this excessive consumption of resources. Bioclimatic architecture aims to minimize the energy consumption of buildings and generate improvements in conditions and comfort, relating these objectives to the climatic factors in which it is inserted. Due to the need to create bioclimatic strategies that improve the thermo-energy efficiency of residential units, researchers have developed effective methods through the use of bioclimatic charts. Among these studies, the Givoni Bioclimatic Chart is the one that suits the climatic conditions for Brazil, having considering that your letter was made referring to developed countries. Thus, the present work aims to study human behavior in the face of different environmental temperatures, as weather and climate influence the region, and present how bioclimatic architecture can obtain positive results in the internal comfort of a building, thus listing bioclimatic strategies necessary for the architectural project of a single-family residence located in the western region of Paraná, and adapt it, if necessary, taking into account the climatic variables to which it is subject.
