We based, theoretical and conceptually, our study, in the conceptions of Vilém Flusser and Arlindo Machado, from a conceptual perspective of intervention in the process of photographic images construction and of disruption with the programs of the semiotic devices (photographic machine), as a way the user not only depend on the options of choices disposed by machine program, without trying to understand or to interfere into its information coding process. We conclude that Geraldo de Barros is a clear example of conceptual and aesthetic disruption with the operation of photographic device programs, for interfering directly in the registration of the images (technical images) when producing them not repeating the coding process already programmed on the machine. We observed that in his photographic production, Geraldo de Barros acted in an inventive way and in the search of plural results in significance and experimentation, continually being ruled by his expressive freedom and avant-garde posture to reconcieve and reelaborate the semiotics function of the mediator apparatus and of the photographic technique, adding new elements to its productive system. Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) Através da poética visual e proposta fotográfica – Fotoformas – iniciada na década de 1940 por Geraldo de Barros (1923-1998), reconhecido como um dos responsáveis pelo surgimento da estética e da fotografia moderna no Brasil, este trabalho buscou demonstrar a possibilidade de rompimento com a práxis comum do processo de constituição das imagens fotográficas. Embasamos, teórica e conceitualmente, nosso estudo, pelas concepções de Vilém Flusser e Arlindo Machado, a partir de uma perspectiva conceitual de intervenção no processo de construção das imagens fotográficas e de rompimento com os programas dos aparelhos semióticos (máquina fotográfica), como uma maneira do usuário não depender somente das opções de escolhas disponibilizadas pelo programa da máquina, sem buscar conhecer ou interferir em sua natureza codificadora de informações. Concluímos que Geraldo de Barros é um exemplo claro de rompimento conceitual e estético com a operação dos programas do aparelho fotográfico, por interferir diretamente no registro das imagens (imagens técnicas) ao produzí-las de forma não programática. Observou-se que em sua produção fotográfica, Geraldo de Barros agiu de maneira inventiva e na busca de resultados plurais em significação e experimentação, continuamente se pautando por sua liberdade expressiva e postura vanguardista ao reconceituar e reelaborar a função semiótica do aparato mediador e da técnica fotográfica, agregando novos elementos ao seu sistema produtivo. 2022-02-14T23:08:52Z 2022-02-14T23:08:52Z 2006-02 masterThesis BATISTA, Paulo Henrique Camargo.
