The present research has the goal to enlarge the comprehension of the relationships between the Environmental Education and the way and the form to dispose the urban solid wastes. In the workshops it has been worked the notions and conceptions of Environmental Education, art and technology to give a different treatment to the solid wastes, as to separate material, to profit the aliments integrally and the application of art to transform these apparatus. Based on these ideas, the research was composed by the human being practices and reflections of the nature appropriation, and the industrial process and the socialization performances. The chosen methodology for the statistic and theoretical part of the thesis was receptively qualitative and quantitative. The workshops organization followed the research in action with five stages: the necessary material planning and providing; execution; work exposition; tasting; the research instruments application; and the draft of presents. The data were treated in software Excel. The thesis structure is divided in three main parts: the first was the theoretical fundaments; the second, the research in action, e the third, and the last, the analysis of the results. The conclusions finalized the text with the following connotations: the practices development for the Environmental Education actions can be done by the art and technology resources; the workshops made possible the socialization and the learning of values, behaviors and attitudes in relation to nature. Beyond, the education actions of the probably solid wastes generated in the participants houses of the sample a constructive repercussion, in the measure that the knowledge were being built and passed spontaneously to family and friends. Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) Essa dissertação explora a aplicação de conceitos de Educação Ambiental, arte, e tecnologia por meio de práticas desenvolvidas em oficinas com grupos sociais em situação de trabalho na Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná – UTFPR. A presente pesquisa tem por objetivo ampliar a compreensão das relações entre a Educação Ambiental e as formas de uso e disposição de resíduos sólidos urbanos. Nas oficinas, trabalhou-se com as noções e as concepções relacionadas à Educação Ambiental, tecnologia e arte para dar um tratamento diferenciado aos resíduos, como a separação de material, o aproveitamento integral de alimentos, e aplicação da arte para transformá-los. De posse dessas idéias, a pesquisa foi composta de práticas e reflexões sobre as formas de apropriação da natureza pelo ser humano, e sobre os processos industrialização e de socialização das práticas. A metodologia escolhida para a parte teórica e estatística do trabalho foi, respectivamente, de ordem qualitativa e quantitativa. Quanto à organização das oficinas, fundamentadas nas propostas da pesquisaação, ela percorreu cinco seqüências: planejamento e provimento do material necessário para a realização da oficina; execução; exposição dos trabalhos; degustação; aplicação dos instrumentos de pesquisa; e sorteio de brindes. Fez-se uso de planilhas eletrônicas, de softwares para tabular os dados. A estrutura do trabalho está divida em três partes principais, sendo a primeira, a fundamentação teórica; a segunda, a pesquisa-ação e a terceira e última fase, a análise dos resultados. As conclusões encerram o texto com as seguintes constatações: o desenvolvimento de práticas para ações de Educação Ambiental pode ser feito por meio de recursos da arte e da tecnologia; as oficinas possibilitaram a socialização e a aprendizagem de valores, comportamentos e atitudes em relação à natureza.
