Currently, much is commented on social responsibility in the business community and the social commitments are already clear that the organizations are facing the society. However, one realizes that other social aspects, beyond those already spread by the social responsibility, are necessary to understand the real influence that an organization and its products can cause in the people’s social life. In such a way, this concern grows on the possible result sot social impacts of products. In this context, the present study aims to verify in which processes of the activity of production of a products life cycle, the social impacts occur. With this purpose, the method of Social Assessment of the Life Cycle is used (ASCV) from the prioritization of the Subcategories for the employees, suppliers, customers, local community and to society. The theoretical referencial of the study has as main authors, UNEP (2009), Jorgensen et al (2007), Griehammer et al (2006). Subcategories are based on research published by Griehammer et al (2007) and the group of the Task Force of Initiative Life Cycle of PNUMA and SETAC, who selected and colected the data for research analysis. As a result, in the inventory stage, the data had been analysed and presented the most significant indicators in the life cycle. These results demonstrate the positive or negative impacts of the activity of production before the stakeholders. |
