This work presents the application of the FMECA tool for a blister machine of a pharmaceutical industry in the South region of Brazil with focus on reliability gain.The fundamentals of ReliabilityCentered Maintenance, method, difficulties and positive points are presented. The effectiveness of the method is analyzed based on maintenance indicators and the gains from the application of the tool are discussed. The work pointed out key parts in the applications of FMECA and practices of the company that restrained the productive potential of the equipment. A projected gain of U$135.000,00 in revenue was reached and postimplementation strategies were defined to follow up on the results. |
