In this way, it is proposed to build a prototype that is investigated and monitored with high inertia loads, and it also allows the start of new researches related to reuse energy (kinetic), vibration analysis, and power quality. Furthermore, the prototype will allow the start of a new field of research and it can be used in specific studies. Experimental results are presented in order to validate the drive of these machines. Este trabalho apresenta o estudo e desenvolvimento de um protótipo de acionamento de cargas com alto conteúdo inercial. Isso significa verificar os aspectos mecânicos e elétricos que estas cargas ocasionam aos motores de indução trifásicos, amplamente difundidos na indústria. Assim, propõe-se a construção de um protótipo com o qual são investigadas e monitoradas cargas com alta inércia e, ainda permita a abertura de estudos relacionados ao reaproveitamento energético (cinético), análise de vibrações e qualidade de energia. Enfim, o protótipo permitirá a abertura de novos campos de pesquisa e estará ao serviço de estudos específicos.
