Resumo: This work reports a digital relay of differential protection modeling of transformer, in order to be used in the academic field and in researches. In the Matlab/Simulink® platform the test electric systems, the acquisition module and signal conditioning and the differential protection module was modeled. The protection module contains a graphic interface to parameterization of the relay percentage protection functions, restricted Earth fault (REF) and harmonic block of 2nd, 4th e 5th order. The model validation was acquired by the simulation of internal and external fault cases, energizing, energizing with fault and overexcitation. The developed differential protection module for transformers shows suitable results that enable analysis by disturbance of events. The good interactivity between mankind and machines and simplicity can be highlighted. These characteristics shows the application of this tool with educational aim, contributing with the teaching of protection systems of electric system.
