Resumo: Distributed generation is set so that each customer can generate their own energy from renewable sources. Photovoltaics, that is the source of energy that has been used the most in distributed generation, is generated by photovoltaic modules that convert sunlight into energy with direct current. With the help of current inverters, you can convert it into alternating current to send such power to the grid in order to compensate for the energy consumed. This work conducted a study of the economic feasibility of the implementation of a photovoltaic system on a rural property and a townhome located in Buri - SP. Analyzing the technical and economic results obtained with the aid of the software Solergo® (2016) it can be seen that the proposed project is highly feasible for conditions of a implanted systems in rural and urban areas, but the most feasible would be only for the urban area. It was also performed the economic sensitivity analysis to compare the return of the initial investment in more optimistic and more pessimistic situations, where in all cases, still, it is possible to emphasize that the system, despite the high investment, is highly economic, technical, social and environmental feasible, and is considered a self-sustaining system.
