Resumo: This paper proposes the development of a didactic computational tool for the analysis of the characteristic curves in steady state and transient regime of three-phase induction motor to assist in the teaching / learning of that machine. The tool was developed in the Matlab software in conjunction with its GUI toolboxes and Simulink. The achievement of the characteristic curves occurs by means of simulations, which is made of the parameters and input data load acting on the engine. It is also shown the equation used in the work and the employer methodology, on well as the description of the tests performed in laboratory for the acquisition of experimental data for comparison with the simulation results in order to verify the accuracy of the tool, which have shown highly satisfactory.
