Resumo: This paper presents a methodology proposal for the development of an off-grid wind turbine system for distributed generation. The proposed method consists in modeling a system composed of wind turbine Darrius model, a permanent magnet generator and connected to one Boost converters. The system can be used for energy storage in a battery, due to the converter output voltage to remain constant. This study is divided into three stages: the first deals with the constructive aspects of the turbine and generator used; The second part consists on the survey of the generator parameters and converter design. Finally, in the third stage, the system simulation will be performed in the Simulink software, using the parameters obtained from the generator, in order to evaluate the performance of the system.
