Civil construction is an important sector of the Brazilian economy, generating employment and income. However, characterized as a conservative industry, it is constantly criticized for the large amount of natural resources used and the considerable volume of waste, also being a user of a low qualified labor in an environment with precarious working conditions. Because of its representativeness in several sectors, it is stated that, in order to achieve sustainable development, the search for a more sustainable construction is essential, based on three dimensions: environmental, social and economic. For being the environment that provides the infrastructure and concentrates the necessary resources for the execution of a project, the construction site becomes the study objective. Using research, technical manuals and regulations, some tools and methodologies used to mitigate the impacts generated within the studied environment were identified. Posteriorly, ways of implementation and advantages of these tools were detailed, and the way they help to effectively search for a more sustainable construction site. At the end of the research, it was recognized that the tools mentioned are advantageous, including those used in the initial stages of the project, in relation to reducing waste from various sources, increasing productivity and motivating employees, being an investment in improving the production process as a whole. |
