Resumo: The distributed generation market has developed a lot in the last few decades, but it is still partly limited by technical and economic problems arising from the connection, mainly to places that already have a greater participation. The intensity of such impacts varies according to the characteristics of the connection location, the generation technology and the size of the units, making long-term forecasting and the development of efficient solutions difficult. In this context, the importance of carrying out a benchmarking of the actions in both the political and technical spheres, carried out by nations highlighted in distributed generation. To that end, the work carried out a review of the state of the art regarding the main technical impacts identified in distribution networks, survey of the technologies applied to mitigate the negative effects, and review of the process of ascending the DG market in countries that stand out in the sector. In the national scenario, the process of changing the form of compensation implemented was monitored, providing subsidies for understanding the motivations and possible impacts arising from the reduction in the compensat
