The COVID19 Pandemic imposed new living conditions and routines, as well as influenced consumption habits, with a consequent impact on the qualitativequantitative generation of solid waste, as well as its management. Environmental perception studies are important for understanding the interrelationships between man and the environment, their expectations, satisfactions and dissatisfactions, values and behaviors, how each individual perceives, reacts and responds to environmental conditions. In this sense, the objective of this research was to evaluate the environmental perception of Environmental Engineering students at UTFPR Campus Londrina, with regard to solid household waste during the COVID19 pandemic period, based on three dimensions of perception: knowledge, importance and behavior. The data collection instrument was developed following the Likert Scale methodology and applied online to 80 students of the Course who volunteered to participate. Data collection took place over a twoweek period in the second half of 2021. Data were analyzed quantitatively, in order to establish the degree of environmental perception of individuals in each dimension studied and the general index of environmental perception. Thus, it was concluded that the degree of environmental perception in the context of the COVID19 pandemic for the knowledge and importance dimension was considered high (91.84% and 91.91%, respectively), while that of the behavior dimension was considered medium (64.86%). The general index of environmental perception was considered medium (78.37%). Such results, associated with the justifications presented by the students for the assertions provided for in the questionnaires, are important to guide actions and practices of environmental awareness to be carried out in the university environment. 2022-03-25T22:03:00Z 2022-03-25T22:03:00Z 2021-12-08 bachelorThesis VICENTIN, Guilherme Caloi.
