Rural villages in the state of Paraná are models of rural community settlements designed for rural workers so that families can make a living. Planning, implementation and the proper functioning of essential services, such as water and energy supply, are fundamental elements for families. In the case of water, as it is managed in a model called the Collective Alternative Solution (CAS), administered by the residents themselves through an association, the hypothesis that problems could occur in relation to the quantity and quality of water was raised. In this sense, this work analyzed the supplying CAS management of the rural villages “The sun rises for everyone” and “Judite de Oliveira Rodrigues”, in the municipality of Quinta do Sol, Paraná State. To collect data and information from rural villages, and to organize the analysis, Ceci's proposal (2020) was followed. The main problems verified were: lack of financial resources and water quality monitoring as well. Financial management is not efficient, which, consequently, is reflected in developments, such as the lack of technical maintenance and water. Regarding water quality, there is no treatment or monitoring through periodic chemical analyses. There is a need for an administrative and financial restructuring of the association. For this, it is important that they receive technical (instruction, training and monitoring) and financial (to restructure the situation) support from the public authorities (city hall and state government), as they are responsible for promoting the operation of essential services for the population through efficient public policies. |
