Resumo: Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) belonging to the Phylum Glomeromycota, of the Class Glomeromycetes, can do mutualistic associations with plant roots. Where the plant's nutrient absorption area is expanded, thus being able to absorb nutrients such as phosphorus, zinc and nitrogen, which are nutrients necessary for the initial development of the plant. It is known that these elements are essential and macronutrients for the plant to develop and grow. The objective of the project is to verify people's knowledge about the association of AMFs and plant growth. As a methodology, an exploratory reference research of articles on these topics was carried out, after which a questionnaire was carried out to observe people's perception of Biogeochemical Cycles and their association with mycorrhizae. After the data were observed together with the literature review, the idea of developing a material in the form of a pedagogical booklet on this thematic axis arose, bringing together the main concepts, how it occurs and its importance for the environment.
