Resumo: The aim of this research is to present an intertextuality analysis including Christian and religious elements found contained in the book The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (1950) which is part of a seven book series, The Chronicles of Narnia. Considering the theories of Julia Kristeva and Gérard Genette we searched to bring forward in this monograph intertextual relations between some excerpts from the text with some excerpts from the Holy Bible comparing both. Our monography is divided in the chapters, the first one is about the author and all influences which were imparted to this writing pieces and about the chosen book; the second is about the definitions of the term intertextuality first used by Julia Kristeva (2005) and its following theory with Gérard Genette, (2010) both which based our analysis; and lastly the six chosen excerpts comparisons analysis which presented relation with excerpts from the Bible. In the analysis we concluded that both theories are similar and the majority of the analyzed excerpts fitted in the definition of allusion.
