Due to the high competitiveness of the current market, industries started to pay more attention to strategic production issues, which the maintenance area has been gaining importance. The equipment lubrication activity is the responsibility of the maintenance team, and requires planning and programming to be performed correctly. The objective of this work is the elaboration of a lubrication plan for a wood industry, specifically in the sawmill sector. Initially were selected the machines that will be part of the lubrification plan. Then, the identification of the points that need lubrication was carried out. With the points already identified, it was categorized which type of lubricant is ideal for each point and then the lubricants available in the company and selected for each lubrication point were analyzed. To estimate the lubrication intervals, diagrams, information contained in the machines and suggestions from the sector manager were used. With this information, a lubrication plan was created that distributes the lubrication activities through a fifty-two week schedule, which would be equivalent to one year. In this way, it is concluded that the lubrication plan created is an ideal tool for controlling lubrication activities and, consequently, it brings gains in equipment availability, reducing the costs of unplanned corrective maintenance. |
