Initially discussions about cities were based on relations of territorial domination, but today the city is seen and debated under different perspectives social, economic, technological and cultural. A large part of these discussions is imbricated in the economic development of cities and have as a backdrop the innovation ecosystem in which cities are inserted. Currently, innovation ecosystems are having more and more visibility, considering that they are constituted in the interactions of actors, who are strengthened in collaborative work in networks, whether national or international, based on issues related to innovation and territorial development. Among these actors, innovation habitats can be highlighted, one of which is makerspaces, which play a role as a connector between people and innovative ideas. They are fundamental actors to enhance the ecosystem. One of these innovation habitats are makerspaces, which play a role as a connector between people and innovative ideas. These spaces are considered as a new form of collaborative workspaces, in which people meet to work on personal and/or collective projects, using traditional and/or technological tools. They are consolidated as a relevant space for the city. The intentionality in the use of this spaces is one of the principles of the concept of educating cities, which has education as its core. It highlights the proposition of an education that goes beyond the walls of the school and brings together other spaces, promoting learning in children, young people, adults and elderly. The dissertation aims to analyze the main contributions of makerspaces in an ecosystem of innovation in cities, from the perspective of educating cities. For this it is necessary to propose a case study, analyzing data from five cities, three Brazilian capitals and two European cities. This is a predominantly qualitative research, of an applied nature, initially bibliographical in nature, with secondary data obtained through a literature review, followed by a survey of primary data, obtained through semistructured interviews with public managers and administrators of makerspaces, submitted to deductive content analysis. The result is the mapping of the public makerspaces of the analyzed cities, later it presents the contributions of the makerspaces that are directly linked to education, technology, digital inclusion, entrepreneurship, income generation and creativity, based on the “maker” culture, thus imbricated in the innovation ecosystem and objectively structured with the principles of educating cities As cidades e seus conceitos vêm se modificando ao longo dos anos. Inicialmente as discussões sobre as cidades pautavam-se nas relações da dominação territorial, porém hoje a cidade é vista e debatida sob diferentes aspectos sociais, econômicos, tecnológicos e culturais. Grande parte destas discussões estão imbricadas no desenvolvimento econômico das cidades e têm tem como pano de fundo o ecossistema de inovação no qual as cidades estão inseridas. Atualmente os ecossistemas de inovação vêm ganhando cada vez mais visibilidade, tendo em vista que se constituem nas interações dos atores, que se fortalecem no trabalho colaborativo em redes, sejam elas nacionais ou internacionais, pautando-se nas questões relativas à inovação e ao desenvolvimento territorial. Entre estes atores pode-se destacar os habitats de inovação, sendo um deles os makerspaces, que desempenham um papel de conector entre pessoas e ideias inovadoras. Considerados como uma nova forma de espaços de trabalho colaborativos, no qual as pessoas se encontram para trabalhar em projetos pessoais e/ou coletivos, utilizando ferramentas tradicionais e/ou tecnológicas. Se consolidam como um espaço relevante para a cidade. A intencionalidade no uso dos espaços é um dos princípios do conceito das cidades educadoras, que tem como cerne a educação. Evidencia a proposição de uma educação que extrapole os muros da escola e agregue os demais espaços promovendo a aprendizagem em crianças, jovens, adultos e idosos. Esta dissertação analisa as contribuições dos makerspaces num ecossistema de inovação das cidades, na perspectiva das cidades educadoras. Para isto faz-se necessário a proposição de um estudo de caso múltiplo, analisando os dados de cinco cidades, sendo três capitais brasileiras e duas cidades europeias. Esta é uma pesquisa predominantemente qualitativa, de natureza aplicada, de cunho inicialmente bibliográfico, com dados secundários obtidos por meio de revisão de literatura, seguida de levantamento de dados primários, obtidos por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas com gestores públicos e administradores dos makerspaces, submetidos à análise de conteúdo dedutiva. O resultado se constitui no mapeamento dos makerspaces públicos das cidades analisadas, posteriormente apresenta as contribuições dos makerspaces os quais estão vinculadas diretamente com a educação, a tecnologia, a inclusão digital, ao empreendedorismo, geração de renda e à criatividade, alicerçados na cultura “maker”, desta forma imbricados no ecossistema de inovação e estruturados objetivamente com os princípios das cidades educadoras. 2022-04-06T15:12:50Z 2022-04-06T15:12:50Z 2022-02-07 masterThesis OLIVEIRA, Shana Gonçalves de.
