Resumo: Day by day, in the operation of an industrial plant is common to have adversities caused by external influences such as losses and failures. To do not deviate from what is expected of a product, the process control emerges as a way of supervising and correcting such adversities. Through an automatic process control system, a meter will sense the disturbances and transmit this information to the controller, which will calculate the correction, and the final control element will adjust the system in order to normalize the process. The use of the control system proves to be essential to ensure safety, efficiency and productivity, thus, knowledge of the subject is of major importance. The way found to study (development nao seria melhor?) the control of an equipment is given in its computer simulation, where the process is represented by an algorithm capable of representing it. The demand for chemical process simulations is gaining more and more evidence in industries and there is still a huge lack of knowledge in this area. So, it is proposed in the following project the development of an educational technology to study the simulation and the control system of chemical processes. With the purpose to survey different approaches explored and published on chemical process control and simulation, a systemic exploratory questionary was carried out in the main academic data research platforms, using the Methodi Ordinatio. Then, with the objective to expose the theoretical content of process control in a dynamic and easily accessible way, the application “Sobcontrole” for Android was developed through the online platform “MIT App Inventor”. In order to connect theoretical knowledge with real processes, two case studies were developed, which includes detailed computational simulations of the processes. Through an activity taught by the author, the application had its operation tested in the Process Control and Instrumentation class of the Chemical Engineering course at UTFPR, Campus of Ponta Grossa, where information was collected in order to trace the user profile as well as the acceptability of the educational tool. The results obtained by the activity showed that there is a great difficulty regarding the programming of simulations, even if most users had already had contact with this methodology. Furthermore, a difficulty in assimilating theoretical concepts with real situations was pointed out. industrial context. tava perdido aqui Regarding the use of the application, the users were positive, *with the proof * that the application was able to staple the process control content and relate theoretical foundations to real processes, thus showing itself to be an efficient educational technology that can be used as a complement to pedagogical practices professors in the Chemical Engineering courses.
