Resumo: This research was developed through the inspection and performance evaluation of a recently completed residential building, located in the Cajuru neighborhood, in the city of Curitiba. For this, an inspection form was prepared in order to observe the pathological manifestations resulting from the construction stages and the impacts of the interventions taken to remedy such problems. In the construction history, regions of one of the structural elements showed small cracks, which led the owner to request a technical report. Thus, errors were found in the design of the project and the application of structural reinforcement in the subsoil of the structure was essential. Through the inspection carried out, it was possible to observe the behavior of the building regarding functionality and performance, at the l technical intervention location there was a functional impact in the parking area, impairing the mobility of people and vehicles. The reinforcements did not significantly impact other regions of the building, however, small pathological manifestations due to execution were catalogued in the visited locations, these being easily correctable. It was concluded that, through the performance standards and methodology developed in this work, the structure presents a positive performance in terms of functionality and stability. This work can help future studies to measure the quality of buildings and meet the objectives outlined in the projects, in addition to contributing to the improvement of construction techniques, planning and management.
