Resumo: The abandonment of products in the shopping cart is a problem that e-commerce sites face around the world. To try to reverse this situation and make their consumers complete the purchase, companies have been using recommendation systems to indicate products that are suitable for their customers’ profile. This monograph presents a collaborative recommendation system for product indication in abandoned cart reminder e-mails in a Beauty sector e-commerce. The system’s central strategy is to use the purchase history of products to identify similarities between them. Based on patterns identified in the exploratory analysis, we also recognized the role of product value in the recommendation. Therefore, in addition to the similarity criterion, the system orders the indications by the sale price in descending order, making new recommendations cheaper than the previous ones.
