Resumo: The present final paper presents the study, sizing and economic viability analysis of a solar energy system for a strawberry farm. Based on the scenario presented in the introduction, was consulted in the theoretical references possible solutions for the demand of electric energy. It was collected informations related to electric charges. It was used the SunData database and the free System Advisor Model software for solar energy potential analysis and afterwards, the components present in the system as well as the sizing of the photovoltaic modules and the solar inverter were shown. Also, the sizing was compared with other budgets for study validation, being calculated payback times and cash flow values for 20 years. It was concluded that the proposed system is valid and suitable for installation in the locality under study.
