In this work, it is proposed the development of nuclear diffusion chambers of types KfK and NRPB / SSI. This development involves the application of reverse engineering concepts, adapting some geometric and dimensional characteristics of the components to manufacture a machining process these two types of chambers. The research makes use of both types of chambers as working tools to determine the level of concentration of radon gas in the region of residence in Cornélio Procópio. This final course work boils down to apply concepts of reverse engineering and manufacture the chambers, the goal is to create a different option for the original construction of these tools, since the original models were manufactured by plastic injection process. The chambers were manufactured in the machining center with computerized numerical control Romi D600, which is in the laboratory of CNC Federal Technological University of Paraná, campus Cornélio Procópio. Corresponding to the ideologies of this work, it is presented the manufactured chambers in response to all dedication and effort for the benefit of engineering. |
